Eva and Stefan Eberl
Ferienhaus Evelyn belongs to Eva and Stefan Eberl. The couple run the Finkenbergerhof in the neighbouring village, and that is where you collect the key to the holiday home.
Questions about free dates, the price for your group, arriving by train or the dog you would like to bring: Eva Eberl answers them personally. And if you would like to know which cable car is the better choice in fog, or which mountain hut is easy to reach with small children, simply ask at the same time.
The first part of the village of Tux, 130 metres from the Rastkogelbahn valley station. Parking is right at the house.

Route to the hotelThe way to Vorderlanersbach
Just past Mayrhofen the Tuxer Landesstrasse branches off and winds its way into the valley. Vorderlanersbach is the first part of Tux, followed only by Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit and, right at the end, the glacier.
By car
- A12 Inntal motorway to the Zillertal exit near Wiesing
- B169 Zillertal road through the valley to Mayrhofen
- In Mayrhofen take the Tuxer Landesstrasse towards Hintertux
- Just after the chapel in the village centre you have reached Vorderlanersbach
- The parking space belongs to the apartment and costs nothing extra
By train and bus
- By ÖBB train to Jenbach station in Tyrol
- Change to the narrow-gauge Zillertalbahn or the Zillertal bus to Mayrhofen
- From Mayrhofen take the scheduled bus towards Hintertux to Tux Vorderlanersbach
- Within the Tux valley the Sportbus runs between the villages and the valley stations
By plane

The Tuxer Landesstrasse from Mayrhofen to Hintertux is cleared all year round and easy to drive. Snow chains are required on snow and ice, and in Austria winter tyres are mandatory from 1 November to 15 April whenever conditions call for them.
From the breakfast table to the gondola
130 metres, that is all there is between the front door and the Rastkogelbahn valley station. Your ski boots dry overnight in the ski room, and in the morning you simply walk out.
Check-in and key handover
Your key is waiting at the reception of the Finkenbergerhof. A short stop, a few words with Eva or Stefan, the best tips for the week, and then you drive on to Vorderlanersbach. We are happy to hand over the key in person, between 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm.

How do we get to Vorderlanersbach by car?
Take the A12 Inntal motorway to the Zillertal exit, continue on the B169 to Mayrhofen and there take the Tuxer Landesstrasse towards Hintertux. Vorderlanersbach is the first part of Tux. The road is cleared all year round, and snow chains are required on snow and ice.
How do we get here without a car?
By train to Jenbach, then the Zillertalbahn or the Zillertal bus to Mayrhofen, and from there the scheduled bus towards Hintertux to Tux Vorderlanersbach. Within the valley the Tux Sportbus runs between the villages and the valley stations.
Where do we collect the key?
At the reception of Hotel Finkenbergerhof in Finkenberg, Dorf 113, 6292 Finkenberg. If you leave very early, the key can be left in the mailbox at the holiday home.
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in from 3:00 pm, key handover until 11:00 pm at the latest, check-out by 9:00 am. Please let us know on the day of arrival roughly when to expect you, then we will be waiting for you.
Is there parking at the house?
Yes, a parking space right at the house belongs to the apartment and is included in the rental price.
How many guests does the apartment sleep?
Across 94 m², the Evelyn apartment has room for two to eight guests. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a comfortable dining area, made for families, groups of friends and ski trips. Smaller groups are very welcome too.
How far is it to the valley station?
A 130 metre walk to the Rastkogelbahn valley station, the direct gateway to the Ski and Glacier World Zillertal 3000. There is a ski room with a boot dryer in the house.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, 20 euros per night, food not included. It is best to mention it with your enquiry.
Are a cot and a high chair available?
We provide a high chair and a cot free of charge. Let us know when you book and both will be ready when you arrive.
What costs come on top of the rental price?
A one-off 125 euros for the final cleaning and 2.60 euros local tourist tax per person and day from the age of 15. On arrival a security deposit of 200 euros is also payable in cash. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and parking are included in the rental price.
How does payment work?
Within 14 days of booking, 30 per cent of the rental price is due as a deposit, and the remaining balance 14 days before arrival. You receive the bank details with your booking confirmation.
What are the cancellation terms?
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. From 29 days before arrival 50 per cent is charged, from 13 days 70 per cent and from 6 days 100 per cent of the rental price.
